Mümine is 14 and lives with her family in the Macedonian mountains. An important source of income for her family is the traditional price for the bride. Mümine has just finished elementary school. Will she be allowed to attend secondary school and escape the traditional attend life? The film shows Mümine in her daily life at moments of major decisions for a self-determined future.
