Zoli earns his living abroad. The film begins with Zolis return in a small Hungarian village named Jaba. Zolis family, a Roma clan who have settled down, struggle to earn their living by working as day-laborers. Jaba offers neither work and nor prospects for Zoli. Jaba tells the story of survival in one of Europes poorest regions. A film about outsiders. A film that is as tough and poetic as the people themselves.
