JEIJAY is about two people who try to repress the inevitable decay of their relationship. Feeling isolated in their own home, the happy facade comes crumbling down. The topic's profound melancholia is captured in little everyday moments that are intertwined with dreamlike sequences.
Born 1990 in Lingen, Germany, she is an animator working in Kassel. She has studied animation at the Kunsthochschule Kassel art school since 2014. In 2016, she founded the collective fishyfilms together with Petra Stipetic.

Petra Stipetić is a qualified sculptor and educator who professionalized her love for storytelling in her animation studies in Kassel. Since then she has produced award-winning short films that have been screened at festivals worldwide. Since 2022 she has been a lecturer of animation and visual storytelling.
