The online catalogue provides access to information on all films published in the short film catalogue GERMAN SHORT FILMS since 2004, as well as in all short film compilations since 2016, which were annually released as viewing DVDs until 2020.

A selection of more than 1000 short films from the annual catalogues since 2007 and the short film compilations published from 2016 until 2020 online (password protected) for:

• the exploiting film industry worldwide
  curators, festivals, cinemas, journalists, distributors, sales representatives etc.
• representatives from the educational field
  media educators, specialized teachers, lecturers who use short films in their lessons, classes and lectures
• unfortunately, it is not possible to grant access to the preview database for private research

Short films available for online preview are marked with one or two icons:
  preview for film professionals
  preview for educational area

The online preview service does not include any further rights of using the films for public or private screenings, screenings in lectures or classes as well as for downloads, copying etc. For these purposes you have to contact the copyright holders who are listed in the online catalogue for each film.

The short film catalogue GERMAN SHORT FILMS has been published annually since 2004 presenting a selection of 100 exceptional current German short films. From 2022, the catalogue is updated three times a year, as well with a total of around 100 short films.
