AG Kurzfilm in Annecy

From 10-15 June 2024, the AG Kurzfilm, together with German Films, will be present as part of the Festival International du Film d'Animation at the affiliated film market MIFA. In addition, they present the current short animated films in our online catalog. Numerous German short films can also be seen in the competition sections of the festival.

AG Kurzfilm offers networking in Cannes

We present new catalog films in Cannes, offer numerous networking opportunities for the German filmmakers on location, including workshops, market guidance and pitch training. Three German short films were invited to the Quinzaine des Cinéastes and the Sélection Immersive.

The members of the federal association re-elected Alexandra Gramatke and Andrea Wink with a large majority. Amrei Keul and Karsten Matern were newly elected to the board.

Viewing Short Films via Online Preview

The online catalog currently offers more than 900 films of the short film catalogs 2007-2023 as well as various compilations on the website www.ag-kurzfilm.de. The service is password-protected and is aimed exclusively at the film industry. It offers, for example, the possibility to filter current German short films by director, year, genre, title and length or to research specific topics. Since 2010, there has been a separate viewing option for media educators and representatives of educational institutions.
