Ein schmutziger See tritt über seine Ufer und droht die Stadt zu überschwemmen. Endlich gibt es nun einen Grund, den umsorgten Sohn zuhause festzuhalten. Doch in der Isolation beginnen schon bald alptraumhafte Assoziationen, sich mit der Wirklichkeit zu vermengen. Während draußen friedlich die Welt im Wasser versinkt, tobt drinnen die Apokalypse.
