Media reports show how the wall surrounding the Shiite quarter in Baghdad is painted with beautiful landscapes: Aesthetic designs are used to cover military measures and the effects of war. In the film, the director applies a similar technique with regard to the overall situation. Images from conflict areas are layered with colours, changed, adorned. A deceitful idyll develops, yet faced with the real (war) situation it cannot be sustained.
