Classified as subversive, GDR photographer Harald Hauswald was for many years observed by the East German STASI secret police under the codename "Radfahrer" (cyclist). The experimental short transfers this opposition relationship into the realm of cinematic montage, and in terms of the design it mirrors it by directly contrasting Hauswald's photos with the reports written by his observers.
