Blackout is the story of a fatal lack of bonds. Throughout the film, guitarist Tom Schulze is the Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde of Berlins night scene. When the sensitive musician is intoxicated he turns into a brutal thug who ruins relationships and lives including his own.
