_grau is a personal reflection on memories coming up during a car accident where past events emerge, fuse, erode and finally vanish ethereally. Various real sources were distorted, filtered and fitted into a sculptural structure to create not a plain abstract, but a very private snapshot of a whole life within its final seconds...
Robert Seidel is interested in pushing the boundaries of abstracted beauty through cinematographic approaches, as well as ones drawn from science and technology. His award-winning projections, installations and experimental films have been shown in numerous international festivals, art spaces and museums.
