A grey evening in Düsseldorf. Birds pass over the noisy city. A young man seeks refuge in the “Fortuna news stand” and drinks coffee to keep his exhaustion at bay, but nods off regardless. Flocks of birds follow him into his daydream, in which he tries to escape his isolation and sense of being trapped.

Felix Reinecker

Born 1985 in Münster;
2005 to 2015 studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Düsseldorf with Jörg Immendorff, Markus Lüpertz and Andreas Schulze;
2015 graduation with distinction;
2015 to 2019 postgraduate studies in animation at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne;
2019 was awarded diploma;
2020 Wim Wenders Scholarship
