Following the footsteps of her father, a former Soviet pilot who went to Sudan to fly cargo, a daughter reimagines the narrative of his journey. A semi-autobiographical film essay told by means of family archives.

Ksenia Ciuvaseva

Ksenia Ciuvaseva was born in Moldova. When she was 19 years old, she moved to Germany to fulfil her dream of becoming a film director. She graduated in film studies from the Free University Berlin and the Charles University in Prague. After that she studied film directing at the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF.
