Maka runs a small Georgian parcel shop in Berlin. It is a place that does not exist on Google Maps and can only be found if you know where to look for it. The store is an anchor point for Georgians who send parcels to their loved ones in their faraway homeland. Each package comes with its own story. What emerges is a small Georgia to soothe the nostalgia.
Ani Mrelashvili was born 1995 in Tbilisi, Georgia. At the age of 18 she moved to Germany and studied at the FU Free University Berlin. She worked on film sets and started making her own short film projects. She writes prose and poetry. Since 2020 she has studied directing at the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF.
