Skopje 2014 is the name of the monumental construction plan of the Macedonian government, which wants to stage its capital as the cradle of ancient high civilization and as the origin of Europe. Adnan Softic

Born 1975 in Sarajevo, Jugoslavia;
is an author, visual artist and director;
studied film and aesthetic theory at the HfbK Hamburg;
in his works he is consistently dealing with historical and remembrance politics issues;
his installations and multimedial works are on display in numerous exhibitions in Europe
