After Fukushima a new term appears in the Japanese language: Genpatsu-Rikon, composed of the characters for „atomic“ and „divorce“. In 2011 the filmmaker Christian Bau travels to the east coast of Japan and tries to find out more about this word creation.

Christian Bau

He studied film at the University of Fine Arts of Hamburg and at the Hornsey College in London. Founding member of the „thede“. Works as a director, cinematographer and producer. Mostly documentaries. He is Member oh the Free Academie of Arts, Hamburg.
