Bodies, figures and structures cut out of books, newspapers and magazines are animated and made spatially tangible using time lapse. "With a cutter knife I cut animated geographical and geological contour lines into photobooks. Each movement of the cut-out masks indicates both the future and the past while the photographic present is dissolving. I followed the shadow of my hand with the knife."
