I move videos from one place to another, searching for their correlations, as if they were the footage for a film. I have understood it thus to date: We shoot images to tell a story through them. But none of the videos on my mobile phone were shot with that intention. What is it that connects them?

Nele Wohlatz

Born in Hanover, Nele Wohlatz studied scenography and media arts in Karlsruhe. She directed her first films in Argentina. Her debut EL FUTURO PERFECTO received multiple awards, amongst them a Golden Leopard for the best first feature at Locarno 2016.
