My grandfather was one of the very first labour migrants under the Labour Recruitment Agreement between Germany and Greece. A short poetic documentary about longing, family and being a so-called guest worker.

Maximilian Karakatsanis, born 1994, is a German film director and writer;
trained in film editing and camera, as well as acting at young independent theatres;
studied new German literature at the University of Cologne;
since 2018 studying at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne
