Maya is a volunteer on the Way-Home-Phone, a service for anyone who feels unsafe on their way home at night and who would like a reassuring voice to accompany them on their nighttime journey. One evening she receives a call from Lea, who has had an unpleasant encounter with a stranger shortly beforehand. At first Maya wants to have the usual conversation with her, but it soons turns out that Lea is being followed by the stranger. Maya now tries to do everything to help her.

Tamara Denić

Tamara Denić, born 1992 in the former Yugoslavia, is currently completing her master's degree in film directing at the Hamburg Media School. In 2016 she graduated with her BA Art and Multimedia, as well as minoring in media informatics, from LMU University Munich with an interactive experimental short film.
