Confused by the German bureaucracy and questions about sexuality, Hoda, an Iranian asylum seeker in Berlin, finds herself emotionally and sexually hooked on Magdalena, who has promised to help her get a residence permit by marrying her. Due to changes in Magdalena's private life, the decision to marry Hoda becomes more complex for her.

Hoda Taheri, born 1992 in Iran, is an Iranian refugee artist and filmmaker based in Berlin. In 2016 Taheri was awarded her BA Visual Communication from Limkokwing University, Malaysia.
