Two brothers flee their home during the Nazi regime. Generations later, their granddaughter weaves a dreamlike story of the untold past crossing into the present. The story is a microcosmos that reveals major shifts in power structures and deeply ingrained generational traumas of the 20th century, especially those related to Jewish, Israeli and Palestinian experiences.

Ayala Shoshana Guy, born 1992 in Jerusalem, received her BfA from Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design Jerusalem, and her Master Class Degree from the Academy of Visual Arts Leipzig. She is a recipient of the DAAD Study Scholarship (2018-2021) and was awarded the Meisterschüler*innen Prize from the G2 Kunsthalle (2021).
