BEAR ON ICE follows fearless 9-year-old Pippa on a wild adventure. Living in a caravan near a gravel pit, she scans the police radio daily for clues about her missing dog. As she hunts for the dog's kidnapper, she confronts oddball neighbors and a mysterious sheriff along the way.

Till Kleinau, a digital film arts directing graduate from ifs Köln film school, strives as an auteur filmmaker to visualize the unspoken. His film MONO NO AWARE won the 2021 German Camera Award, while his documentary 75/1 received a nomination for best editing at the same awards event and premiered at DOK Leipzig.
