While cartographing the world, the Google Street View car sometimes crosses paths with animals. ACCIDENTAL ANIMALS examines these encounters between the technical reproduction machine and animals such as spiders, donkeys or dogs. How comes the algorithm blurs pigs' faces? And what does it mean when 15 cameras focus on the eyes of an animal?

Felix Klee

Felix Klee, born 1990, is studying documentary film directing at the University of Television and Film Munich. From 2024 to 2025 he is a guest student in the class of Hito Steyerl at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich. He is a graduate of the AdBK Munich and also studied at the AdBK Nuremberg.
