Hadi, a young poet from Syria, has been living in a crowded refugee camp in Berlin for a year. He is unable to formulate his thoughts or make contact with his fellow human beings, while his neighbor Nadim is afraid to articulate his feelings. One day, Hadi decides to bury a cassette with old recordings from his childhood under a tree. But the peace does not last long, because the hidden cassette changes the fate of both of them forever.
