An autobiographical documentary about mental illness and an ambivalent mother-daughter relationship: Rosa has suffered from an anxiety disorder and panic attacks since early childhood. While on vacation at the Baltic Sea, she tries to deepen her understanding of her condition and its origins through conversations with her mother, brother, and grandmother. A family history between closeness and interdependence unfolds, where anxiety runs through several generations of women.
Rosa Gocht was born in Dresden in 1998. After graduating from high school and spending a year abroad, she studied at the Film Academy in Vienna for a year. In order to focus more on documentary film, she applied to the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF, where she has studied film directing since 2021.
