After a long illness, Shari learns that she has only a few months left to live. In an attempt to escape reality, the sky collapses above her, and she meets the cosmonaut dog Laika, which guides her on a spiritual journey through the universe. Like Laika, Shari is approaching her final rocket launch. In the silence of space, she realizes how fragile Earth is - and how precious time can be. She wants to spend her remaining days with her family, preferably in a car, with mixtapes. And toast.

Kiana Naghshineh
Kiana Naghshineh studied animation at the Film Academy Baden-Wuerttemberg. She made several short films and worked on many projects. In 2014 she participated in an exchange program at Gobelins l’école de l’image in Paris. Now she works as a director, concept artist, and animator for several studios.
