Johannes Duncker works as an independent filmmaker and is the festival director of the KFFK/Short Film Festival Cologne. The film THE TEACHERS' LOUNGE, which is based on his first feature-length screenplay, won five German Film Awards and was nominated for Best International Feature at the Oscars.
