At the final match of a fencing tournament, Anja watches her son lose to one of his friends. When her son's rivalry turns into racism and violence, she becomes the only witness to what truly happens. Torn between shame, ambition, and the fear of admitting the truth, Anja is caught in a moral conflict. Staying silent seems like the easiest path, until she realizes that looking away comes with its own cost.

Florentin Dotzauer

Florentin Dotzauer studied sociology and communication studies in Munich. Alongside his studies, he worked as an assistant director and produced his own short films, which focused on conflicts, relationships, and the inner worlds of children. He is currently studying film directing at the Film University Babelsberg.
