A narrative from the novel Noi lazzaroni by the Italian author Saverino Strati, condensed into a dialogue. On rocky leasehold land in the south of Italy, a father teaches his son how to build dry walls. The son learns that to be a good craftsman one has to be dedicated or else there will be a lack of zeal, life and beauty.
