Service for filmmakers

AG Kurzfilm is dedicated to fostering exchange and cooperation among professionals working with short films, both nationally and internationally.  To this end, the association supports festival attendances of filmmakers whose works are invited to competition programs at festivals abroad.

In addition, AG Kurzfilm organizes and participates in various events and workshops, providing opportunities for filmmakers, producers, distributors, and broadcasters to network and collaborate on joint projects. The association also maintains an online catalog of German short films, updated three times a year, which is presented and promoted at international film markets.

Since many festivals offer their own seminars and workshops, which we cannot comprehensively cover, we recommend visiting the respective festival websites to explore their current programs.
