has written and directed three feature films, all produced in Baltimore, where he was born and raised;
his work is part of the permanent collection of the MoMa, the Harvard Film Archive and was screened at the Whitney Biennial, Walker Arts Center, Centre Pompidou international film festivals;
he teaches film theory and production at Johns Hopkins University and Maryland Institute College of Art
