For weeks Joy has been on her own when her mother Martina, who had not come home after a date, suddenly shows up. When Martina falls for a new lover, Joy's anger is unleashed. After a fight between Martina and her lover, Joy thinks she has won her mother back. But the fight for her favour ends unexpectedly.
