A man tries to keep pace in front of the hand of a clock, turning ever faster, until he's overtaken by time itself. PACE is an animated short film exploring our modern relationship with time and today's constant feeling of not having enough of it.

Kai Stänicke

Born 1986 in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Kai Stänicke directed his first short films while studying film production in Dortmund. Since 2010 he has been directing films and music videos in Berlin. His work was screened in festivals all over the world and received numerous awards and accolades.
