Born 1998 in Vienna, Simon Maria Kubiena was introduced to filmmaking through acting and participated in several film and acting workshops. Since 2019 he has studied directing at the Film Academy Baden-Wuerttemberg and attended La Fémis in Paris on an exchange semester.
