João Pedro Prado

He is pursuing his master's degree in directing at the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF and is currently shooting his graduation film, a documentary feature in co-production with ZDF. His short documentary PANAMA, ONE-WAY was screened at several European film festivals. ASH WEDNESDAY is his fiction film debut.

Bárbara Santos

The internationally renowned and innovative author, theater director, actor, performer, and feminist-antiracist activist is the artistic coordinator of KURINGA theater in Berlin, as well as several other theater groups in Latin America, Europe and Africa. ASH WESNESDAY is her directorial debut in film.
