The dance training from my childhood, imprinted in my body's postures, often brings back memories of that time. By watching the dance tutorial videos shared by countless dance teachers on the internet today, I seem to be able to grasp some of the reasons that caused my body to resist it so strongly, and which eventually led me to stop dancing.

Juejun Chen graduated from the oil painting department of the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in China in 2017 and is now studying at the Kunsthochschule Kassel art school. Video art is one of the many creative ways in which she expresses herself. Her work also includes painting, performance, and installation.
