Anoush was just five years old when her parents fled with her from Iran to Germany. Now she is about to graduate from high school and trying to figure out what her future could look like. In Cologne she feels at home and safe. Her parents, on the other hand, have experienced a social decline. Her father Puya is particularly affected by the situation and becoming increasingly silent. A visit from Iran makes him blossom for a brief moment and Anoush's view of him also changes.
