Texas, October 2005. Three teenagers say their final goodbyes. They cannot hug their father. He is sitting in a cage behind bullet-proof glass. Two days later, he is executed. Ten years later, we meet the three siblings. How do they deal with the trauma? Can they break the vicious cycle of guilt, drugs and violence?
Born 1976 in Worms;
studied American philology, African-American studies and film studies in Berlin and at Harvard University and completed several periods of work experience as a journalist;
after gaining her Master of Arts in 2003 she worked in human rights politics;
since 2007 she has been working as a freelance author and filmmaker
