The isolation of a character from their dystopian world and fusion with a virtual television world. The character begins to zap through the TV channels and, as the film progresses, penetrates ever further into the virtual world of the television. Through purchasable keys, they are able to immerse themself in the programmes that promise various emotional states and escape from their dreary outside world. Over the course of the film, the character gradually loses touch with their outer world.
Hagar Faibish is an artist born in Israel. She studied animation at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem, before moving to Germany to attend the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF. Her art is very intuitive, with elements of absurdity and nonsense, mixed with an underlying melancholic tone.
