A boat with fifteen people onboard is stranded off the coast of Lampedusa. Emergency calls to European authorities are being ignored. The NGO Sea-Watch deploys an aircraft in a race against time. As they pinpoint the boat's location, an unknown vessel appears on the horizon. The film offers a firsthand account of the migrant crisis on the Mediterranean. The crew has no choice but to witness the harrowing failure of Europe's human rights policy and the gamble with human lives.
