A man is cleaning a stairwell. A party is being reconstructed in court. In a Danish courtroom, a young woman listens to her testimony being retold by a judge and rendered by an interpreter - her own story returning to her, mediated through two languages and two voices. YOU SAY THAT YOU'RE STAYING AT THE PARTY BECAUSE YOU’RE HAVING FUN follows a sexual assault as it is processed by institutional language and translations.

Siri Hammarén
