A conservator is repairing damaged texts while an Asian delegation wander through the corridors in awe. The philosopher Knut Ebeling accompanies the film with a text: "This is not just about retrospection, about collecting, storing, and preserving […]. It is also about encoding the future." The film culminates in a drum performance in the catalog reading room.
