On a distant planet not unlike our own, a scientist called Tikhon discovers the key to immortality - the scent of beetroot. Those who surround themselves with its scent live forever. Through the excessive use of the beet scent, an impenetrable magenta atmosphere soon envelops the entire planet. Immortality spreads like a virus: death is now not only avoidable, but impossible.

Petra Stipetić

Petra Stipetić is a qualified sculptor and educator who professionalized her love for storytelling in her animation studies in Kassel. Since then she has produced award-winning short films that have been screened at festivals worldwide. Since 2022 she has been a lecturer of animation and visual storytelling.

Maren Wiese

Born 1990 in Lingen, Germany, she is an animator working in Kassel. She has studied animation at the Kunsthochschule Kassel art school since 2014. In 2016, she founded the collective fishyfilms together with Petra Stipetic.
