Film Markets
Supported by Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung (MDM) and German Films, the German Short Film Association represents German short film at major international film markets. Since 2003, the association has been present with a stand at the Short Film Market of the Festival du Court-Métrage de Clermont-Ferrand, the most important festival for the international short film industry as well as at the European Film Market of the Berlinale.
At the world's most important film festival, Festival de Cannes, German short film is also promoted through market screenings and other activities. Since 2007, the AG Kurzfilm has maintained a market stand at the Marché international du film d'animation in Annecy which is part of the Festival international du film d'animation, the leading industry event for animated film worldwide.
Furthermore, AG Kurzfilm presents selected films from its catalog in the DOK Film Market Online Library of the International Leipzig Festival for Documentary and Animated Film DOK Leipzig and on T-Port, the Online Platform for Student & Short Films.
