The adOHRi transmitter – what is important for cinema operators?
In the cinema, the adOHRi transmitter transmits the audio description to the users' smartphones, which they can then listen to with their own headphones. This requires that the audio description has been stored on channel 8 in the film's DCP. For short films, this offers the possibility of putting together programs flexibly.
The transmitter is connected to the server in the screening room. A description of this and various adapters are included with the transmitter. The transmitter can be borrowed free of charge when booking accessible short films (programs) through the distributors interfilm Berlin and Kurzfilm Agentur Hamburg or through AG Kurzfilm.
We are happy to assist with any questions or problems.
