Clermont-Ferrand int'l Short Film Festival
AG Kurzfilm will once again be represented with a booth (H2) at the film market of the International Short Film Festival in Clermont-Ferrand (January 30–February 7, 2026), which will take place from February 2–5, 2026.
>> A total of 17 German short films will be screened in the various competitions and sections of the festival. In addition, the AG Kurzfilm, in cooperation with German Films, will present numerous other current German short films in two market screenings.
21st edition of the German-French cooperation program “Soirée Allemande/SHORT EXPORT 2026”
The Soirée Allemande is celebrating its premiere in Clermont-Ferrand and its 21st edition. The approximately 90-minute program will be presented to the public for the first time on February 2, 2026, at 6 p.m. This year, six current films have been selected that impressively reflect the diversity and quality of German short films. Representatives of almost all participating films will be present at the program premiere.
The project is a long-standing German-French collaboration between AG Kurzfilm, German Films, the Goethe-Institut Lyon, the Kurzfilm Agentur Hamburg, and the ISFF Clermont-Ferrand. Under the title SHORT EXPORT, it can be booked worldwide by Goethe-Instituts and their partners.

Market screening “NEW GERMAN SHORT FILMS”
This program offers an insight into German short filmmaking and presents outstanding, brand-new independent and student productions from the current short film catalog. The films will be shown on February 4, 2026, at 6 p.m. In addition, they are available via the online preview, as are numerous other titles, including those from previous catalog editions.
Just in time for the start of the film market in Clermont-Ferrand, AG Kurzfilm has expanded its short film catalog “German Short Films” to include current productions. New films are added three times a year: at the beginning of the year, in spring, and in fall. The first films of the new year will be available here at the start of the film market. All newly added films are available online for viewing by the film industry.
