European Film Market

15 German short films will be featured in the official sections of the Berlinale (February 12-22, 2026). 

Under the umbrella of German Films, AG Kurzfilm will present its current project portfolio at its stand at the European Film Market (February 12-18, 2026), which is aimed at industry representatives as well as filmmakers, producers, distributors, and festivals, providing information and contacts relating to German short films. As part of AG Kurzfilm's annual short film reception during the Berlinale, ver.di will also present the 4th Fair Festival Award for the fairest German film festival this year.

As always at the beginning of the year, the AG Kurzfilm has included brand-new films in its short film catalog "German Short Films". The first 28 films of the new year can now be found here. This first update of the catalog will be followed by two more in spring and autumn. Professionals can view the current selection of films online after registering in advance.

The popular festival calendar, which provides a compact overview of important national and international festival dates for 2026, is also available for digital download and as an updated iCal file for integration into personal calendars. If you don't want to do without the analog calendar (as of December 2025) in your office, you can order it from our office while stocks last.
