Festival international du film d'animation Annecy

The "Festival International du Film d'Animation" in Annecy is one of the most important festivals for animated film worldwide. The associated film market MIFA is also one of the most important industry meetings of the international animation scene. This year, AG Kurzfilm will again be present together with German Films at the MIFA (MARCHÉ INTERNATIONAL DU FILM D'ANIMATION), the film market connected to the festival.
There, interested industry visitors can find out about current developments in the German animation scene, make contacts and learn more about the brand-new New German Animations, which have been added to the AG Kurzfilm's online catalog in 2025. Industry representatives can view the films after prior registration via the online preview function connected to the catalog.
A total of nine German short films and three feature films have been invited to the numerous sections of the festival:

A German Reception will also be held during the festival, with the cooperation of numerous German institutions from the animation sector: AG Kurzfilm, AG Animationsfilm, animation germany, Animation Media Creators Region Stuttgart, Animation Production Days, FMX 2025, Animationsinstitut der Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, German Films, Internationales Trickfilmfestival Stuttgart as well as Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung and MFG Baden-Württemberg.
