International Film Festival Berlin

Five German short films will be represented in the official sections of the 2025 Berlinale (February 13-21, 2025).

Under the umbrella of German Films, AG Kurzfilm will present its current project portfolio at its stand at the European Film Market (February 13-19, 2025), which is aimed at industry representatives as well as filmmakers, producers, distributors and festivals, and will provide information and contacts relating to German short film. As part of AG Kurzfilm's annual Short Film Reception during the Berlinale, the 3rd Fair Festival Award by ver.di will also be presented this year, honoring the fairest German film festival.

As always at the beginning of the year, the AG Kurzfilm has included brand-new films in its short film catalog "German Short Films". The first 30 films of the new year can now be found here. This first update of the catalog will be followed by two more in spring and autumn. Professionals can view the current selection of films online after registering in advance.

The popular festival calendar, which provides a compact overview of important national and international festival dates for 2025, is also available for digital download and as an updated iCal file for integration into personal calendars. If you don't want to do without the analog calendar (as of December 2024) in your office, you can order it from our office while stocks last.
