AG Kurzfilm in Berlin


Under the umbrella of German Films, we will be presenting our current projects at our stand at the European Film Market from February 15-21, 2024, advising filmmakers and festival representatives on all questions relating to short film, arranging contacts and working on new collaborations.

Our short film catalog "German Short Films" is filled with fresh films three times a year. Now it's that time again - the first selection of this year has taken place. Take a look and discover the 26 brand-new short fiction films, documentaries and animated films!

AG Kurzfilm in Clermont-Ferrand


AG Kurzfilm will again be present with a booth at the film market of the International Short Film Festival in Clermont-Ferrand from February 2 to 10, 2024. In cooperation with German Films, we will present numerous current German short films in two market screenings. A total of 14 German short films can be seen in the various competitions and sections of the festival.

FEINKOŠT 2023 in Germany and the Czech Republic


On October 6, 2023 our traditional German-Czech short film tour FEINKOŠT will start with current short films from both countries. In cooperation with KineDok / Institute of Documentary Film Prague, we have selected six short documentary films that will tour Germany and the Czech Republic as a binational short film program until the end of the year.

SHORT EXPORT 2023 is ready for bookings!


In its 18th year, SHORT EXPORT 2023 is a new edition of the popular short film program, which started in 2006 as Soirée Allemande. After its premiere on 30st January in Clermont-Ferrand, the approximately ninety-minute programme will go on tour under the title SHORT EXPORT - Made in Germany and can be booked worldwide by Goethe-Institute and their partner organizations. Viewing Short Films via Online Preview


The online catalog currently offers more than 900 films of the short film catalogs 2007-2023 as well as various compilations on the website The service is password-protected and is aimed exclusively at the film industry. It offers, for example, the possibility to filter current German short films by director, year, genre, title and length or to research specific topics. Since 2010, there has been a separate viewing option for media educators and representatives of educational institutions.

The short film magazine provides regular information on current developments in the short film sector. Portraits, interviews with filmmakers in the new Talk'n'Topics section and extensively researched articles provide background information on developments in the short film scene as well as practical tips.


Short Film and Cinema – the Filmkunstmesse Leipzig


For many years, we have been working to ensure that short film finds its way back into cinemas more often, back onto the big screen where it can best unfold. One of the most important places to talk to cinema operators, present current short films and reach the hearts of program planners is the Filmkunstmesse (film art fair) in Leipzig.
